NDA Policies & Procedures
IN-STUDIO CLASSES
Tuition: Signed registration and tuition must be received one week before the first class. You may make your payment by check, credit card (through website), cash, Venmo, or Zelle. Payments given in person in class must be in a sealed envelop with your students full name on it.
No Shows and Missed Classes: If you cannot make a class, every effort will be made to catch you up in the next class, however credit for missed classes cannot be given.
Late Fee: Late fee of $25 will apply to your tuition after 2nd session of the class if payment is not received on time.
Image/Video Release: By registering for Niosha Dance Academy, you hereby grant permission to the rights of your image, likeness and sound of your voice as recorded on audio or video tape without payment or any other consideration. You understand that your image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein your likeness appears. Additionally, you agree to waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of my image or recording.
Proper Attire: Each student must wear appropriate dance wear. Children are preferred to wear Tights and Leotards. Adults can wear tights or warm up clothing (no Jeans or stiff clothing). All students must wear dance shoes, jazz or ballet slippers. Contact your class instructor for purchasing shoes, clothing and the NDA uniform.
Saying goodbye to your child: We request that you drop off your children and leave the studio. This allows us to focus on your child as well as allow your child to focus on the instruction. Think of it as our gift to you for 1 hour! The last class of each month is reserved as Parent's observation day.
Refunds: Since each class size is predetermined refunds are not permitted unless the waiting list has a replacement student. Exceptions are made on an individual basis.
Performances: All NDA students are encouraged to perform in NDA recitals. However, performing though out the year for other cultural, community, corporate events in only for NDA Performance Team.
Performance Team: Additional service offered by NDA is the opportunity to be part of Performance Team (PT).
Students who are interested to perform after few months of attending classes regularly and showing improvement and dedication will be given the chance to be part of PT group. Attend additional classes and learn rules and how to of performing and will be given several performances through out the year at different functions where NDA gets invited. There will be a contract signed by both students / parents and NDA. Each student will have that opportunity but details will be discussed when time is right for each individual. ONLINE CLASSES
Niosha Dance Academy runs on an annual program from January to December.
Submitting Payment: Niosha Dance Academy accepts online payments online through PayPal which accepts major credit cards.
Make Up and Missed Classes: Due to limited classroom space, there are no make-ups or credits or refunds for missed classes.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class to ensure we start on time.
Make sure to set up your laptop/tablet in a secure spot that is not backlit, allowing instructor to view your entire form during class.
Classes may be recorded and used for marketing purposes for Niosha Dance Academy. Accepting these terms confirms your approval.
Dance moves taught at Niosha Dance Academy are trademarked; the use, demonstration, or promotion of the style in any personal or marketing material must make reference to Niosha Dance Academy.
