Tales of the Fox!
Tales of the Fox, is a narrative dance drama, that is taken from the ancient Persian masterpiece, Kelileh va Demneh, a work similar to Aesop's tales in which the animals interact and there is an uplifting moral.
We hope to use this as a vehicle for garnering increased audiences. This project will be ready for public viewing in Spring 2011 and will be in San Francisco and Bay area theaters and possibly LA and other cities in US.

Join NDA and all Iranians living in the US and take the Census survey in 2010!
Click To Learn More About the 2010 Census
It is a critical part of our rights as American citizens and residents that we partake in this once every 10 years survey. The representation of Iranians in the US has not been accurately measured. As such, our voice is not heard as loudly as it could or should. This is our chance to let our voice and culture be known in the US!
Don't miss this once every 10 years chance on April 1, 2010!
The next survey will be in 2020!!!
The survey is very simple, and easy to take and completely anonymous.
Please make sure when you reach the section regarding national identity and ethnicity that you mark your survey as "Iranian" or "Persian".

What a beautiful night. Every thing was purple, all the decorations, guests and hosts outfits, table cloths and even the wrapping of the auction items. Purple is the color of Relay for life through American Cancer Society.
There were about 250 people in support of NDA to raise money for Cancer research. The Avalon nightclub graciously let us use their facility and they provided delicious food for the guests as well. That was a big donation from them. Thank you so much to the Jafari family.
Hayward Mazda was our #1 sponsor. Thanks to Max’s Jewelry with his donation items that helped us exceed our goal. The Ebrahimi Brothers, Mohammad and Mehran as always side-by-side NDA let the audience enjoy the beautiful sound of their music as well as dancing to their tunes. Thanks to them and their art and their dedication.
Our great DJs were there donating their time and expertise: we had DJ Far and like always THE DJ Teymour who played the hottest music in town.
MESSA entertainment got everyone on the dance floor, what a great band. We were all so impressed by their professionalism and their music that no one wanted the night to end; everyone danced and forgot that it was Sunday night!
Last but not least were the NDA dancers, families and supporters who made the event so successful. All the donors of the Auction items, all the bidders at the live auction and all the people who showed up and joined us to not only raise money for Cancer patients but also to celebrate our own life and be grateful for what we have, our health, our friends and our life to be thankful for.
Special Thanks to: Ramina, Ghazaleh, Neda, Tina, Kimia M., Kimia S., Shadee, Sepee, Elhum, Niki, Suhaila, Mehrnaz, Firouzeh, Massih, Ladan, Sheena, Nazli, Maryam, Mahyad, all NDA Dancers and all the helpers (sorry if I missed your name! I thank you) and my lovely husband Fardad. Hope to see you all and others who had to miss this one on the next one.
Dear Niosha,
At the outset, I would like to appreciate your beautiful ecard, and apologize for the delay on getting back to you on the Collegian's front page. Collegian Newspaper is our university's famous newspaper where thousands and thousands of university professors and students read. As you requested me, I came up with the front page of Monday, October 8th's collegian and attached it to this email, so that you are able to keep that in your records as well. I will however, attempt to post you the original, as well. I appreciate all your help, and hope to see you soon!
