NDA: Niosha Dance Academy

Niosha Dance Academy (NDA) was founded in 1991 by Niosha Nafei, to teach traditional and modern Persian/Iranian Dance to groups of students as well as individual instruction.

Students of Niosha Dance Academy perform regularly in both Persian/Iranian as well as multi cultural dance events.

Beginning and advanced classes are held throughout the San Francisco Bay Area on weekdays and weekends and include classical direction emphasizing regional Persian/Iranian dances such as; Bandari , Turkish/Lezgee, Baba Karam, contemporary Modern/Pop, and traditional Persian Dancing.

2007 Campaign Report

Dear friends and family,

This year Relay for Life was held in Fremont, at the California School for the Deaf on June 30 & July 1, 2007.

We finished our 24 hour walk and I walked the whole night without sleep for the first time!!!

It was awesome and we were the top team with an over $8000 difference between us and the 2nd team! We raised $18,200 this year for the onging fight against cancer!

But the fight is not over yet! And we are not done for this year by anymeans. we will alos be at the Plasanton Relay for Life, and if you want to help out you can certainly do so!

Dear Niosha, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! The American Cancer Society Relay For Life® of Fremont was a resounding success. But thank you hardly seems like enough to describe the wonderful impact your help has had on the fight against cancer.

We are proud to report that at this year's event NDA was the TOP FUNDRAISER with over $19,000 out of 41 teams who together, helped us raise $120,000!
