Wishing you all a relaxing break and Holiday Season. We are coming near to the end of a successful 2014 year for NDA. Our performance teams performed in so many performances in this past year, spreading the beauty of our work. From all the Nowruz performances at Farsi schools and Corporations and organizations to half time show for San Jose Earthquake Soccer team. We had several Traditional Wedding performances that was breath taking. Our participation in Multicultural fairs brought more joy and awareness to the audience. NDA was pleased to teach dance for summer camps in SJ again this year.
At Niosha Dance Academy we always promote and encourage our students to try their best not only in dance, though in all they do. We must say that we were very impressed by the improvement and growth of all our girls. Even our little ones :)
Thanks to the hard work of our students, parents, and undivided dedication of our amazing instructors, we had a great run! Thank you Teacher Melieka, Teacher Neda, and teacher Nazmehr!
Also...Our very own teacher Melieka performed solos in various performances this year, receiving much recognition in one of her favorite styles of Sufi and Spiritual movement.
A big thank you for all who helped us out in our "Adopt a Family 2014" program this holiday season. a separate email was sent out for final report, though just wanted to add one last BIG THANK YOU, we loved the experience and hope you did as well (check our Facebook page for pics), we adopted 24 families (120 individuals). Stay tuned for our 2015 plan for these families on a regular basis!
Lastly, In 2014 we had the amazing opportunity to work with a dear friend and choreographer, Jamal, whom will be assisting me in choreography for our April 2015 show. This one will be a whole new project mixing traditional and modern Persian dance styles; we are very excited to unveil this soon. You won't want to miss this :)
There you have it, we end 2014 thanking you for your support and wishing each and everyone of you the best this coming new year.
