Our aim is to create a platform for aspiring talent, young and the young at heart to receive structured dance training in various styles of traditional and modern Persian dance as well as belly dancing.
Since 1991 Niosha Dance Academy has been dedicated to providing a fun, and healthy learning environment for performing arts, dance, and choreography. Our aim is to make each student achieve their goal an be the best dancer they can be.
Niosha Dance Academy performs throughout the US at cultural arts festivals, local community events, as well as producing their own annual performance in the San Francisco Bay Area, and strives to maintain and enhance the awareness of Persian dance and culture.

Policies and Procedures:
Tuition: Signed registration and tuition must be received 2 weeks before the first class. You may make your payment by check or credit card. Do not bring payment to class.
No Shows and Missed Classes: If you cannot make a class, every effort will be made to catch you up in the next class, however credit for missed classes cannot be given.
Proper Attire: Each student must wear appropriate dance wear. Children are preferred to wear Tights and Leotards. Adults can wear Tights or warm up clothing (No Jeans or stiff clothing). All students must wear dance shoes, jazz or ballet slippers. Contact your class instructor for purchasing shoes, clothing and the NDA uniform.
Saying goodbye to your child: We request that you drop off your children and leave the studio. This allows us to focus on your child as well as allow your child to focus on the instruction. Think of it as our gift to you for 1 hour! The last class of each month is reserved as Parent's observation day.
Refunds: Since each class size is predetermined refunds are not permitted unless the waiting list has a replacement student. Exceptions are made on an individual basis.
Performances: Performing in our annual show 1001 Dances is a privilege for only advanced students. However, all NDA dancers are encouraged to perform in the recitals.
